Survey open October 1-6

You are invited to participate in the Summer Snapshot, which aims to characterize honey bee colony health and management during the summer in the United States. The Summer Snapshot especially focuses on commercial beekeepers, defined as those running operations owning about 500 or more colonies. The information collected will be used to identify common practices, challenges, and areas where additional research or resources may be needed.

The Summer Snapshot is conducted by Dr. Geoff Williams, Dr. Agostina Giacobino, and Dr. Stephanie Rogers (Auburn University), in collaboration with Dr. Frank Rinkevich (USDA), Dr. Nathalie Steinhauer (Oregon State University), Dr. Rogan Tokach (North Dakota State University), Dr. Garett Slater (Texas A&M University), Steven Coy (American Honey Producers Association), Richard Coy, Debbie Seib and Patty Sundberg (American Beekeeping Federation), and Samantha Brunner (North Dakota Department of Agriculture). Matt Mulica and Margaret McGuirk (Honey Bee Health Coalition) facilitated discussions.
